Software giant Microsoft launched their latest Windows 11 OS late last month. The operating system brought in quite a few UI enhancements along with various new features after 6 long years. We expected Microsoft to completely re-imagine Windows as, to be honest, we never really liked Windows 10 at all. The good old days of Vista (at least in terms of aesthetics and feel) are long gone.

Download and install iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 Beta

iOS 15.1 Beta 2 is now available for both developers and public beta testers.
The iPhone 6S and later, iPod touch (7th gen) are compatible with iOS 15!
Every model of the iPad Pro 12.9 and iPad 11″, iPad Pro 10.5 and iPad Pro 9.7″ (Beta 2 is not available for this model as of now), iPad Air (2nd gen and later), iPad (5th gen and later), and iPad mini (4th gen and later) are eligible to run iOS 15.

Cupertino giant Apple introduced iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 at the WWDC21 event. The update brings in some new features and tweaks as so is more of an evolutionary upgrade this time around. With the new version comes the beta testing phase as usual. Speaking of which, follow this guide on how to register for the Beta Software Program, download and install the first-ever beta of iOS and iPadOS 15.

The Developer Beta along with the Public Beta is available to install now. The Developer Beta requires you to have registered for Apple Developer Program ($99/year). Thankfully, the Public Beta Program is free to sign up for. Speaking of which, you may also install iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 Developer Beta without a developer account for free (at your own risk!). Instructions to install the Developer Beta and Public Beta the official way are detailed below.

Back up your iPhone or iPad, first!

This is the first and unavoidable step every user needs to follow before installing a beta release of iOS. We’re pretty confident that you all know how to backup your devices as it’s a self-explanatory process. Yeah! Just connect your iPhone to PC/Mac and fire up iTunes and back up your iPhone as usual.

Sign up for the Apple Developer Program and install the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 Developer Beta

Launch Safari on iPhone and go to the Enroll page to get into the Apple Developer program.
Authenticate with your Apple ID and download the Developer Beta profile and install it by going to Settings > General > Profiles. Select the profile and tap Install.
Go back to Settings > General and select Software Update and check for the iOS 15 Developer Beta.

Sign up for the Public Apple Beta Software Program

Open Safari on your iPhone and go to the Apple Beta Software Program webpage.
Tap Sign Up and you’ll be asked to sign with the Apple ID associated with your iPhone. Confirm authentication with your Face ID/Touch ID.
Accept the software license agreement.
Scroll down to locate and tap enroll your iOS device.
Read the instructions or skip to the Install Profile section and press Download Profile and select Allow.
Go to Settings > General > Profiles to view the iOS 15 Beta Software profile. Tap the profile and select Install. Enter the passcode and restart the device if required.

Install the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 Public Beta

Provided you have followed the above steps correctly, open the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Update and install and enjoy the iOS 15 beta software.

How to install iOS 16 Developer Beta for free?

Apple unveiled iOS 16 on Monday with a massive refresh to the lock screen among others. We felt the update to an overhaul after so many years. Do you want to try the Beta release of the new software update? Well, Apple has rolled out the Developer Beta for registered developers ($99/yr.) with Public Beta to go live in July.

However, fret not, you can try the Developer Beta free of cost. Yes, you read that right, even if do not have a developer account you can enjoy the iOS 16 before public beta testers. Folks over at BetaProfiles.com have the developer beta profiles up for download and we have linked both profiles in this guide.

CAUTION!

PhoneGlide is not responsible for any damage that may occur from using the Developer Beta profile obtained via websites other than Apple. We recommend all users patiently wait for the free and official iOS 16 Apple Public Beta Software Program to go live in July. Follow this guide at your own risk!

Back up your iOS device!

Please make sure to back up your iPhone or iPad via iTunes before attempting to install a software update, especially any beta or pre-release software.

Let’s install the iOS 16 Developer Beta for free

On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari and download the iOS 16 Developer Beta Profile. Tap Install Anyways! and the download will begin.
Head over to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Tap the iOS 16 Beta Software and select Install to begin the installation. Enter your device passcode if prompted and accept the consent to install the profile.
Tap Restart to reboot your device.
That’s it, go back to the Settings, then General > Software Update to check for updates and start the downloading process.

NOTE: If the iOS 16 Beta Software is not available in Software Update, restart your device and check for updates again.

Google’s rollout of Android 12, it’s latest and greatest mobile OS is widening to smartphones across the globe. However, quite interestingly, the Alphabet company introduced Android 12L last month which is tailor-made for foldable phones. Speaking of which, we have the Android 12L wallpapers in 2160 x 2400 px resolution.

You can download wallpapers in a bit (or see Table of Contents below). First, let’s give you all a basic overview of Android 12L.

2. Android 12L wallpapers

What is Android 12L

Considering that foldable phones are the next big thing going forward, Android 12L focuses on large, flexible, and foldable devices. The letter L stands for Large. The user interface is tweaked here to take advantage of large displays.

For instance, the notifications panel, lock screen, quick settings, home screen, and more are refined to adapt to the change in size. As in, logically a two-column setup is used for all apps across the system to span across the large display.

An interesting new apps switcher design is being employed for better multi-=tasking capabilities. Now, we get to see a Windows-like taskbar at the bottom of the display to switch between apps swiftly. Split-screen mode is here as well (and that too for all apps) for the best of both worlds kind of people.

Developers simply need to follow Google’s direction with regards to window sizes for phones, foldable, tablets, and computers. Compact size for phones, Medium for foldable phones, and Expanded for tablets.

The 11T Pro from Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is its latest flagship offering. Released in October, the phone packs some impressive specs in the Android world of things. Also impressive are the 2 Xiaomi 11T Pro stock wallpapers we have for you today. The resolution is FHD+ at 1080 x 2400 pixels. However, first, let’s quickly go through the specifications and then download stock wallpapers.

Sitting currently at the helm of Xiaomi’s smartphone lineup, the 11T Pro carries impressive specs on paper. Starting off, a gorgeous 6.67-inch FullHD+ (1080 x 2400 px) AMOLED display with 1 Billion color support is here. The display is Dolby Vision certified and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 5G networks are all here when it comes to the connectivity side of things. As for I/O, a USB-C port takes care of charging and wired data transfers.

A massive 5000mAh battery pack with 120W fast charging ensures good endurance. A full 100% charge takes just 17 minutes. Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 is pre-installed out of the box.
