As per a Korean news forum (via @FronTron), Samsung’s display division has allegedly sent a sample to Apple for testing.

An 8.3″ 120Hz display panel manufactured by Samsung will supposedly be employed in the upcoming new iPad mini iteration. Having said that, upon launch, we saw the current iPad mini 6 exhibit jelly scrolling during an iFixit teardown. For starters, jelly scrolling is a jelly-like effect that occurs when one half of the display refreshes slower than the other.
