Later this year, Apple is purported to finally bring out an all-new iPad mini 6. The company is going with a complete redesign of the same with an iPad Air 4-like design albeit in a smaller footprint. Speaking of which. the aluminum cut-out of the upcoming iPad mini 6 has leaked courtesy of Techordo.com and @xleaks7.

As you can see from the pictures above, the iPad mini 6 will feature a design with flat sides very much like Apple’s recent tablets and iPhone lineup. The camera and flash arrangement mimics that of the 2020 iPad Air. Turning to the sides, we can see the flat design with the volume buttons and what appears to be the rumored Touch ID-enabled power button.

That said, a Face ID system is out of scope here. As for the screen, we can see symmetrical bezels throughout the front-fascia. By the looks of it, an 8.5″ display may make it to reality. Having said that, a mini-LED display may embrace the iPad mini 6 eventually.

Coming to the internals, Apple will most likely equip the A15 chipset that’s set to debut across the iPhone 13 lineup very soon. As tempting as it is, we don’t feel the possibility of the Apple M1 chip being featured in the iPad mini 6.

Smartphone case manufacturer Spigen has officially confirmed the vanilla iPhone 13 design, at least the camera arrangement at the back. Ahead of Apple‘s California streaming event, the case maker took to their Twitter account with the tweet that reads “How were getting ready for the #AppleEvent this week” followed by the tears of joy emoji. The image in the tweet has the box for their Ultra Hybrid Mag case seemingly for the 6.1″ iPhone (2021) model (technically the iPhone 13). This one is a MagSafe compatible case. One may argue about the case maker’s die-hard confirmation regarding the phone’s design but it’s a no-brainer that they design cases based on leaked renders and dummies to get ready for a new product launch.

Also, there is a possibility that smartphone companies do send case makers their upcoming design details well before the official release of their devices. This is so that smartphone cases for hot new products reach the shelves as soon as new devices are launched in the market. Anyways, see for yourself!

The iPhone 13 isn’t even out yet and voila, we are already getting to see the iPhone 14 of 2022 leak in all its glory. Yes, one year in advance! Renowned tipster Jon Prosser from FrontPageTech released a video showcasing the design of the iPhone 14 ahead of Apple‘s California streaming event.

According to Prosser, he claims to have witnessed the real-life pictures and schematics from an unnamed source of the iPhone 14 Pro Max without a camera bump due to a thicker design. To better protect his source, he in collaboration with designer Ian Zelbo conceptualized the iPhone 14 Pro Max renders based on his observations. And boy, does the phone look sweet!

As you can see, the design is bringing back the benchmark in smartphone design i.e the iPhone 4 is making a modern comeback in the form of the iPhone 14 in 2022. With that said, remember the modern iteration of the iPhone 4 version from LetsGoDigital we showed months ago?

Anyways, moving on, here, the squared-off edges along with the round volume button are back in form. The camera bump will be gone for good because of a thicker design and the use of titanium for the mid-frame instead of stainless steel.

Prosser expects an increase in battery capacity too. Speaking of which, the back glass panel sits on top of the frame again like on the iPhone 4. Going towards the bottom, the lightning port is still intact flanked by a speaker grille that looks like the one on the iPhone 4.

Finally, let’s get to the focal point, the screen. The display will be of the punch-hole variety with the notch being phased out and the Face ID system being seated under the display. That’s all, let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy your day!

Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 13 lineup sometime in September this year. The most significant change expected to happen in the line is a smaller notch. Speaking of which, we have got hold of what is believed to be renders of the iPhone 13 Pro model from 91mobiles.

The renders showcase the complete design of the upcoming Apple flagship. Upon closer inspection, we get to see the new notch that’s shrunken down compared to the current iPhone models. The arrangement of the earpiece, sensors, and camera module has been altered here. The earpiece has moved to the top part of the phone in a cut-out with the notch only housing the FaceID sensors and front-facing camera next to each other.

Flipping the device reveals the expected triple-camera setup albeit now the module appears larger than the one on the current iPhone 12 Pro. Moving to the sides, it’s the standard flat design with the volume and silent mode toggle along with the SIM tray on the left. On the right, we see the 5G mmWave antenna for the US market. The lightning connector stays at the bottom flanked by the microphone and speaker grilles.

The iPhone 13 Pro has been oft-rumored to feature an LTPO OLED display (here a 6.1″ unit) with a 120Hz refresh rate. LTPO screen is proven to have improved efficiency to ensure good battery life. That said, Apple is expected to introduce always on display on the iPhone 13 Pro, thanks to the display technology.

In line with the previous report with regards to a smaller notch on the upcoming iPhone 13, DuanRui has shared a few pictures on Twitter of the same. Not only that, the pictures actually depict a comparison of the smaller notch with that of the iPhone 12. The comparison is made using what appears to be a screen protector for the upcoming iPhone lineup.

As you can see from the images below, the notch here houses all of the sensors and camera next to each other neatly with a cut-out for the earpiece above all of the components. Meaning, the earpiece/speaker will be located at the top bezels of the iPhone 13.

The reduction in the width of the notch is due to the earpiece being relocated in a better location to free up space and provide that much more screen real estate, say for the battery percentage. Anyways, take a look.

All of these changes are a huge welcome, however, ever since Apple introduced the iPhone X in late 2017, the size of the notch hasn’t been given a resize. To be honest, we prefer the current notch because it has become an identity for modern iPhones in icons and device representations much like the home button of previous iPhones. We wish Apple goes all-screen by locating the front vitals under the display. However, that won’t happen at least until 2023 considering the company’s major design upgrade cycle.

We just cannot get over the fact that Steve Jobs introduced a benchmark of a product over a decade ago. No no, we aren’t talking about Apple‘s original iPhone, which in itself is more than just a benchmark for the entire mobile industry. We are referring to the good old iPhone 4 from 2010. Folks who owned or even felt and used it can only understand the message we really are trying to convey here. As in, the iPhone 4 was a giant leap in the industry back in 2010 itself.

With a timeless all glass and flat stainless steel design (groundbreaking for the time, not any less today!), the phone just raised the bar in smartphone design and engineering.

Building upon this, the creative artists over at LetsGoDigital have come up with a breathtaking remaster of the iPhone 4 for the year 2022. This concept keeps the core design values of the phone with upgrades on the right spot like the bezel-less edge-to-edge display. interestingly, there is no notch up here, which elevates the deal here.

Also, Apple may launch a new 9th generation 2021 iPad, if rumors can be taken into account.

1. Timeless design. Re-imagined!

Timeless design. Re-imagined!

Words already can’t describe the perfect design of the iPhone 4 and the same applies to this beautiful and luscious iPhone 4 2022 concept. Let’s take a look, shall we? Jump right in, PhoneGliders!

The Original iPhone 4

The iPhone 4 came with a 3.5″ Retina IPS LCD display with a thick forehead and chin (which was the norm back then, even today with the SE 2020!). It had 512GB of RAM and up to 32GB of onboard storage. A single 5MP camera with 1080p video recording sat at the back of the device.

And yes, how could one forget Apple’s in-house A4 chip that started the company’s massive leap to outclass the competition to this very day. Since the introduction of the iPhone 4, Apple took smartphone speed seriously has never turned back ever.

We hope Apple takes note of this very concept and brings out a possible iPhone SE 3 in 2022. As we own an iPhone SE 2020, we feel Apple needs to consider a flat design for the next-generation model.

On a side note, today, 9/10 smartphones out there boast an all-glass (is Glasstic same as glass, Samsung?!) design, thanks to the iPhone 4. Steve Jobs proudly mentioned the iPhone 4 as, unlike anything we have ever seen, with its only close kin to be a good old Leica camera of the past. This proves how much Jobs was confident of the true industrial design of the device.

What do you all think about the remastered iPhone 4? Chime in the comments and let’s get talking. Thank you for reading.

The trillion-dollar company Apple has taken the wraps off the hugely anticipated iPhone 13 lineup. The live-streamed California streaming event brought four new iPhone 13 models. On that note, check out the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Moving on, the iPhone 13 and 13 mini are what we would like to call incremental updates over the previous generation. Yes, we get the same 6.1″ and 5.4″ Super Retina XDR OLED on both models. Speaking of which, the notch footprint has been reduced to better make use of space and the earpiece has been moved towards the rim of both devices.

Coming to the guts, the fastest chip ever in a smartphone, the A15 Bionic is here, built on the impressive 5nm process again. Hexa-core graphics are onboard for unparalleled visual performance. Storage this year starts at 128GB all the way up to 512GB on both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Goodbye to the preciously good old 64GB! Onboard memory is 6GB. On that noted iOS, 15 boots up the show, and yes improved 5G is onboard.

Flipping things around, a much improved dual-camera system is seated at the back of the devices. The basic design is fairly the same with only the camera units have been arranged diagonally this time around as opposed to a stack arrangement. Both the main wide and ultrawide cameras are 12MP in resolution. However, sensor-shift stabilization from the iPhone 12 Pro Max has made it to the iPhone 13 and 13 mini for great low-light stills and crispier videos.

What’s even more interesting and the star of the show here is the Cinematic mode. The new feature brings the cinema-style portrait to video enabling one to record video of the subjects with a depth effect and automatically change the focus. This is seriously impressive for what a smartphone camera can achieve.

As for battery life, as per Apple, the iPhone 13 is set to last 2.5 hrs more than the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 mini brings in 1.5 hrs better battery endurance than its predecessor. Pre-orders will start September 16 and the devices will be available on September 24. The lineup will come in Pink, Blue, Starlight, Black, and PRODUCT (RED) finishes.
