The iPad mini 6 brings an all-new design, Touch ID, 5G and the mighty A15 Bionic

Apple finally decided to let go and redesign the iPad mini this year. Welcome the iPad mini 6 carrying an 8.3″ Liquid Retina Display with 500 nits of brightness and an A15 Bionic chip. The bezels have been trimmed to make it line with the iPad Pro range and the iPad Air 2020. To us, the iPad mini 6 feels like a smaller iPad Air 2020. Moving on, the display features an anti-reflective coating and support for the P3 color gamut. Apple Pencil (2nd gen) is compatible here.

The design of the iPad mini 6 is all aluminum in four gorgeous color finishes namely Starlight, Purple, Pink, and Space Gray. Speaking of which, Touch ID has been relocated to the power button to celebrate the all-bezel-less design. The front camera is now of the 12MP variety and borrows the Center-stage feature from the iPad Pro 2021. The main camera too is 12MP in resolution with Smart HDR and is supported by the True-Tone flash.
