As you can see from the pictures above, the iPad mini 6 will feature a design with flat sides very much like Apple’s recent tablets and iPhone lineup. The camera and flash arrangement mimics that of the 2020 iPad Air. Turning to the sides, we can see the flat design with the volume buttons and what appears to be the rumored Touch ID-enabled power button.

That said, a Face ID system is out of scope here. As for the screen, we can see symmetrical bezels throughout the front-fascia. By the looks of it, an 8.5″ display may make it to reality. Having said that, a mini-LED display may embrace the iPad mini 6 eventually.

Coming to the internals, Apple will most likely equip the A15 chipset that’s set to debut across the iPhone 13 lineup very soon. As tempting as it is, we don’t feel the possibility of the Apple M1 chip being featured in the iPad mini 6.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE – 10/03/20: When it comes to the true-wireless audio experience, the first product that comes to anyone’s mind is the Apple AirPods. It in itself has set a benchmark in the audio segment for almost half a decade now. With that said, late last month, we got to see what is supposed to be the AirPods 3 boasting a new yet familiar design.

Today, however, we have obtained images courtesy of Gizmochina, showcasing the upcoming AirPods 3 in full form. By the looks of it, we think Apple is going with an AirPods Pro-like design. We still are in dilemma as to whether or not the 3rd gen AirPods will feature an in-ear design or not (at least by the renders). In one way if you think, it makes sense if t retains a simple design as both the first-gen AirPods and the Airpods 2 did not have an in-ear design, and also they looked identical. The stem appears to have become shorter here and the charging case is slightly narrower and taller than the Pro model brings it in line with the non-pro AirPods. The ANC feature may or may not make it to the AirPods Pro. That feature could still be reserved for the AirPods Pro with the next generation not too far away. The over the ear offering from the Cupertino company namely the AirPods Max was out a couple of months ago.

Gizmochina claims to have received these renders directly from suppliers ahead of the March 23 event. They also believe these renders depict the final design of the AirPods 3 that’s likely to make it to retail stores. Also, Apple is rumored to launch a new iPad Pro, AirTags, and new Apple TV at the March keynote. Apple may also be working on the 9th Gen 2021 iPad, the successor to the current vanilla iPad.

Building upon that, it is widely speculated that Apple might bring out a 2021 refresh to the iPad Pro line. Speaking of which, we have got CAD-based renders of the rumored iPad Pro 2021, at least the 12.9-inch flavor. The renders are coming exclusively from 91mobiles. Take a look and we’ll jump into what we can infer from the same.

If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it design!

Right off the bat, we can see all the similarities here to the current iPad Pro 2020 tablet device. Starting off, Apple is expected to further thin out the bezels at the front fascia. With that said, the Face ID array might as well see a reduction in size to seat inside properly. On that note, Apple is said to be switching from IPS LCD to OLED or all the way to Micro-LED for the display technology. Micro-LED boasts the nature of an OLED but without any problems like pixel degradation or decay since OLEDs are organic and Micro-LED isn’t.

Going to the back of the device, we will get to see a dual-camera system accompanied by the LiDAR scanner along with an LED flash and a microphone. Moving on to the bottom, as usual, is two of the speakers out of the quad-speaker setup, and sitting between those is a USB-C port (when will the iPhone embrace this?).

As usual, the pogo pins to help attach compatible accessories and more can be seen in the mockup here. Much like the current Pro model, Apple pencil support and the ability to attach the same to the side of the tablet will be featured.

The elongated power button could also integrate a Touch ID sensor (like the iPad Air 2020) in addition to the much more secure Face ID biometric authentication system.

On the innards, the iPad Pro 2021 will feature an update to the company’s A14 chipset in the form of an A14X or A14Z SoC to help deliver that much oomph in performance in general. Well, who knows, what if Apple has got a surprise for all of us and might altogether introduce their M chips to completely flip off the PC industry.

Speaking of which, in a leaked memo courtesy of The Verge, Apple CEO Tim Cook sent out to employees on Tuesday expresses his frustration towards leakers and said that the company is “doing everything in our power to identify those who leaked”.

Tim also explicitly pressed the company is aware that there are only a small number of leakers out there and that “people who leak confidential information do not belong here”, here as in Apple. The full transcript of the memo is below for your reference.

Dear Team,

It was great to connect with you at the global employee meeting on Friday. There was much to celebrate, from our remarkable new product line-up to our values driven work around climate change, racial equity, and privacy. It was a good opportunity to reflect on our many accomplishments and to have a discussion about what’s been on your mind.

I’m writing today because I’ve heard from so many of you were were incredibly frustrated to see the contents of the meeting leak to reporters. This comes after a product launch in which most of the details of our announcements were also leaked to the press.

I want you to know that I share your frustration. These opportunities to connect as a team are really important. But they only work if we can trust that the content will stay within Apple. I want to reassure you that we are doing everything in our power to identify those who leaked. As you know, we do not tolerate disclosures of confidential information, whether it’s product IP or the details of a confidential meeting. We know that the leakers constitute a small number of people. We also know that people who leak confidential information do not belong here.

The iPad Mini 6 on the other hand features no redesign whatsoever much like the Pro models. As in, they at least here appear to stick to the current design. The Pro variant is believed to retain the same thickness for the front bezels and so is the mini with the classic design complete with the home button below the display.

Another report from LeaksApplePro suggests that the 2021 iPad Pro lineup might go official as soon as next Tuesday. On and off, we’ve all been hearing about a virtual Apple (not the WWDC 2021 which commences on June 7) event this month. However, it is speculated that Apple may altogether ditch plans for such an event and launch this year’s iPad Pro line via a press release. Let’s all wait and watch.

The case is Speck’s Balance FOLIO. Anyways, as you all know, Apple has an 11″ iPad Pro (2018 and 2020) currently in the lineup and also the iPad Air 2020 with a 10.9″ screen. So, quite naturally, the folio cover will definitely fit the two iPad models, and that’s mentioned on the box, which isn’t the thing here.

The cherry on the cake, to top it all up, is that it is also explicitly mentioned on the very same box that the cover fits a “NEW iPAD 11″ (2021)”. Which means, we may get to witness a new 9th Gen 2021 iPad with an 11-inch display this year (March 23, perhaps? more on that below). March 23 Apple event, likely to happen?

Strangely, also as per the user on Reddit, when he apparently had attempted to buy the cover, the system threw an error back at him. The error goes like “This item can’t be sold until 4/06”. And that clears the picture here and cements the fact (not really, or does it so? who knows!) that Apple may be preparing an update to the current vanilla iPad and a March launch (we’ll get to it in a bit) may be in cards.

To further back this, he claims that an employee over at Target had told him that the product wasn’t intended or supposed to be on the shelves yet. Also, we expect Apple to release the final version of iOS 14.5 on the same day as the March event or a day earlier. On that note, Apple outed iOS 14.4.1 on Monday with a critical and very important security patch and we urge our viewers to update their eligible devices immediately.

Anyways, speaking of this very information, we on the other hand are expecting Apple to conduct an event on March 23. As reported by renowned Apple leaker, Jon Prosser, the Cupertino giant is expected to introduce a myriad of products later this month. From the likes of an iPad Pro 2021, AirPods, a new Apple TV, and a 3rd gen AirPods or an update to the AirPods Pro.

Speaking of which, OnePlus is scheduled to launch the OnePlus 9 series on March 23 and so if we can take all of the speculations, we may get to see a clash here. Last-minute rumors have been floating around recently with regards to a notched MacBook Pro for 2021. At first, we were taken aback when we heard speculations. However, eventually, we convinced ourselves that Apple most likely is planning to finally bring Face ID to its laptop line. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here.

The source presses that Face ID on the M1X MacBook Pro will not make it to reality with Apple’s stern decision to stick to the Touch ID authentication system.

Now, this brings us to a conclusion that the screen bezels are going to be ultra-thin this year. So thin so that the front camera, True Tone, and other sensors are being grouped inside the new notch.

Yes, yes, It’s entirely possible for Apple to bring Face ID, no big deal but that’s saved for the future generations in typical Apple fashion.
