Apple teases new iMessage features and more in time for WWDC 2021

Apple on Tuesday updated their YouTube channel and also sent out a mail message with the link to watch the WWDC21 event that starts on June 7 at 5 PM (GMT). The banner for the event has in it various types of Memojis all around along with a few iMessage chat bubbles hinting at new features planned for the messaging platform. Interestingly noticeable is the background of the banner that reminds us very much of the Mac OS X Snow Leopard default wallpaper (exciting new macOS features on the way!).

Moving on, the Twitter hashflag of WWDC21 is now live with an Apple iMessage thumbs up emoji which further cements the possibility of new features coming to the iMessage service. Take a look at the Twitter hashflag.

At the keynote, Apple is set to debut the all-new iOS and iPadOS 15, new iterations of macOS, WatchOS, and tvOS. We will also see developer-oriented sessions, new apps, games, and much more making it a truly jam-packed virtual event.
